Step 1: Access the Portal

Step 2: Create an SSP User Account

  • Click on the “Sign Up” hyperlink.
  • Follow the prompts to create your user account.

Step 3: Log Into the System

  • Use your newly created username and password to log in.

Step 4: Existing Taxpayers

  • If you are an existing taxpayer, click on the “Register with an Existing BP Number” hyperlink.
  • Follow the instructions to register.

Step 5: New Taxpayers

  • If you are a new taxpayer, select the option to register without an existing BP Number.

Step 6: Link Your Bank Account

  • Choose your bank from the list to link your ZIMRA Single Account. Ensure you select the correct bank where your account is held.

Step 7: Provide Your TIN

  • Always quote your Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) in all tax-related transactions, communications, and submissions.

  • New Registrations and Data Updates: New taxpayer registrations and updates to master data are now handled through TaRMS.
  • Existing Taxpayers: Access your TIN through the self-service portal using your current BP Number.
  • New Taxpayers: A TIN will be allocated upon registration through the Self-Service Portal.
  • Note: No new registrations will be accepted through the old e-Services platform.
  • Manual Registrations: Manual registrations are no longer accepted; all registrations must be done online.

  • Complete a REV1 form and register in the old system solely for the purpose of issuing tax clearance certificates.

Registering a ZIMRA BP Number

Online BP Registration Steps:

  1. Access the Registration Portal
    • Go to ZIMRA E-Filing.
    • Click “Login” and enter your Username and Password.
    • Click “Sign In”.
  2. Register for a BP Number
    • Click “I do not have a Business Partner Number”.
    • Fill in the required details under “Profile Details” to complete the organization’s information.
  3. Add Directors
    • Click the “Directors” tab.
    • Click “Add” to input the director’s details, then click “Save”.
    • If the director already has a BP Number, use the “Search” function.
  4. Add Shareholders
    • Click the “Shareholders” tab.
    • Click “Add” to input shareholder details, then click “Save”.
    • For existing BP Numbers, use the “Search” function.
  5. Enter Bank Details
    • Click the “Bank Details” tab.
    • Click “Add” to enter the bank details and click “Save”.
  6. Other Details
    • Click the “Other Details” tab to enter details for Tax Consultants, Representatives, or Branches.
    • Click “Add” to input the details and click “Save”.
  7. Upload Documents
    • Click “Next” to proceed to attachments.
    • Click “Browse” to select documents in scanned format.
    • Choose the document type from the dropdown menu and click “Upload Selected File”.
  8. Complete and Submit
    • Click “Next” to finalize the details on the Finish tab.
    • Click “Submit” to complete the registration.
