Send cash to any cellphone number using Cellphone Banking, the Money app, or Online Banking for instant cardless cash withdrawals at selected retailers or Nedbank ATMs.

All you need is your SMS with the cash voucher number and secret PIN. The recipient has 30 days to withdraw the funds before the voucher expires and the funds return to the sender’s account. Withdrawals can be made at any Nedbank ATM or at one of these retail stores:

Using the Money App

  1. Log in and go to Transact and then Pay.
  2. Choose Single payment.

Transaction Statuses (only available via the Money app):

  • Unredeemed – The recipient has not redeemed the voucher yet.
  • Redeemed – The recipient has withdrawn the money.
  • Cancelled – The sender has cancelled the transaction.

How to Reverse Nedbank Cash Send

If the voucher has not been used:

  1. Call 0800 555 111 for assistance in canceling the voucher and arranging a refund. It may take 24 to 48 hours for the refund to reflect in your account.

If you used the Money app:

  1. Select Send money.
  2. Select the transaction you want to cancel from your recent Send money payments.
  3. Check the status, which should be Unredeemed. (You can cancel the transaction only if the voucher has not been redeemed yet.)
  4. Select Cancel Send money. The money will be refunded into your account automatically.

Simply dial *120*001# from your cellphone.
