Canceling via Email or Fax

If your bank is not listed in DStv’s automatic cancellation options, you can cancel your debit order by sending the necessary documentation via email or fax.

Required Documentation

  1. Proof of Banking: Provide one of the following:
    • A recent bank statement
    • A bank-stamped letter
    • A canceled cheque
  2. For Third-Party Payments: If you are paying on behalf of someone else, include:
    • Proof of banking as mentioned above
    • A copy of the bank account holder’s ID
    • A signed 3rd Party Authority to Debit form (PDF – 210KB)

If a company is paying your personal MultiChoice account, follow these steps:

  1. Prepare a Letter on Corporate Letterhead:
    • The letter must authorize payment via the company on behalf of the individual.
    • Include the company’s banking details.
    • The letter must be signed by a company representative (not the individual whose account is being paid).
    • Include the name, position, and contact details of the signatory.
  2. Submit Original Documents:
    • Take the original letter and necessary documentation to your nearest MultiChoice branch or agency.
