Resolving uFiling Login Issues: Blocked or Locked Accounts

If your UIF uFiling login is blocked or locked, there are steps you can take to resolve the issue and regain access to your account.

If your uFiling login is blocked, you can unblock it by sending a copy of your ID to adminchangerequest@labour.gov.zaor follow the procedure below.

If your account is locked, please email ufilingsupport@uif.gov.za.

Steps to Unlock uFiling Login

Follow these steps to unlock your uFiling account:

  1. Open the uFiling Website: Go to www.ufiling.co.za/uif/.
  2. Click on “Forgot Password”: This option is available under the “log in” dropdown arrow.
  3. Select Your Contact Method: Choose either SMS or Email.
  4. Enter Your ID or Password Number: Provide the necessary identification.
  5. Enter Your Username: Fill in your username.
  6. Retrieve Password Hint: Click on “retrieve password hint” under “complete password options” and try to log in again if the hint helps you remember your password.
  7. Reset Password: If the hint doesn’t help, click on “reset password” under “complete password options”.
  8. Receive Temporary Password: You will receive an SMS or email containing a temporary password.
  9. Log In and Set a New Password: Once you’ve logged in with the temporary password, you will be required to enter a new password to use in the future.

By following these steps, you should be able to resolve any login issues and regain access to your uFiling account.
